We are currently looking for a Junior HR Officer to strengthen the Cronos Europa team.
As a Junior HR Officer, you will play a key role in managing operational HR and administrative activities within our organization. Reporting to the HR Team Leader, your responsibilities will encompass payroll administration, employee lifecycle management, HR record maintenance, and fleet administration.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Management:
- Process monthly payroll for all employees, and coordinate with our payroll provider to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and internal policies, including tax laws and labor regulations during payroll processing.
- Address payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Liaise with external payroll service providers and auditors to support compliance and reporting requirements.
Onboarding and Offboarding:
- Prepare employment contracts and related documentation in alignment with company policies and legal requirements.
- Organize and conduct new hire orientation sessions, introducing company policies, processes, and workplace systems.
- Set up employee profiles in HR and payroll systems, ensuring all relevant data is accurately recorded.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure smooth onboarding, such as IT for email account setup and access rights.
- For offboarding, manage the exit checklist, process final payroll, recover company assets, and provide required documentation such as experience certificates and final settlement details.
HR Administrative Management:
- Maintain and update internal HR database and personnel record
- Prepare HR documents (employment contracts, amendments, certificates, etc.). Track and report on employee leave, sick days, and absences to support payroll accuracy and workforce planning. Supports HR Projects and initiatives
Employee Support:
- Act as the first point of contact for employee HR-related queries and provide quality support
- Assist in resolving employee concerns related to payroll, benefits, and leave balances, ensuring a positive employee experience.
Fleet Management:
- Handle the administrative management of fleet operations
- Coordinate the assignment and tracking of company vehicles, maintaining accurate records for fleet operations.
- Monitor fuel consumption, ensuring compliance with company policies and cost efficiency
Profile:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Fluency in French
- A good level of English (B2)
- Soft skills: organizational and time management, problem-solving, verbal and written communication, interpersonal abilities, approachable, diplomatic, open-minded, easy to engage with in any conversation, assertiveness, resilience, team player, discretion and strict confidentiality
- Hard skills: knowledge of HR and payroll processes, MS Office, Luxembourgish labour laws and social legislation
